John Loiacono, 82, of Clermont, FL, peacefully passed away on November 01, 2023. John was born on June 06, 1941, to Nicholas and Angelina Loiacono in the bustling city of New York. He was one of 6 and is survived by his siblings; Annie, Joseph, Peter, Rosarie and predeceased by Nicholas. John lived a very busy and fulfilling life with 6 children and 2 stepchildren: Nicholas, Angelina, John, John Jr, Philip, Joseph, Debbie and Anthony along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
John, a skilled electrician, made a lifelong career managing maintenance operations for the Third Housing Company in Flushing, New York. A jack of all trades and collector of many things, he never hesitated to get his hands dirty and lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He had a true passion for cooking, although his food choices were sometimes questionable. He always wanted to feed everyone and share his recipes. In retirement, he found his true love; Walmart. John would spend hours browsing the store, amazed by all the things and would frequently buy things for his family and friends in addition to adding to his abundant flashlight collection. He was definitely a big personality, a very generous man and could light up a room. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
