John Mitchelli

John Mitchelli, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, 88 of Orlando passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008. He was born in Canton, Ohio,and moved to Delray Beach, FL in 1994 from New Jersey and to Orlando in 2007. John served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy during World War II and was of the Catholic Faith. He retired from Carpenter Steel in Union, N.J. after 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Antoinette Mitchelli of Orlando; sons Charles "Chubby" Mitchelli (Sharon) of Orlando and Anthony Mitchelli (Andrea) of New Jersey; brother, Daniel Mitchelli of Delaware sisters, Mary Pietrefesa and Frances Occhipinti both of New Jersey; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Dick Millelot of Boca Raton, FL. He was preceded in death by his daughter Pauletta Millelot.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822. The funeral service with full military honors will be at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Care Hospice, 1300 N. Semoran Blvd. #210, Orlando, FL 32807.
