John R. (Dickie) Rayman

Mr. John R. (Dickie) Rayman passed away peacefully surrounded by the Love of his family at his son's house in Longwood, Florida.
John was born in Owensboro, KY. on July 24th, 1941. He is survived by his soulmate and beautiful wife of 44 years Nancy. His two Sons, Robbie and Darrell, his Daughter-in-Law Alexandria (Sissy) and his future Daughter-in- Law Robin. His Grandson Robbie Nick and his Wife Emily, his Granddaughter Samantha and his Great-Grandson Julian.
He is also survived by his two Sisters, Jackie and her husband Glen and his baby Sister Billie Sion. Many Nephews, Nieces and Friends. He is also survived by his four legged youngest Son, Nicky Ray and Nicky's sister Alia.
John served in the U.S. Army from 1964-1969. He served 18 months in the Vietnam War where he received the Bronze Star Medal.
John enjoyed woodworking, playing pool and played a mean game of canasta. He was a diehard Kentucky Wildcat Fan, but his favorite passion was being around family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 335 East State Road 434, Longwood, Florida on February 5th with a gathering at 10:00 AM, with the Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 AM.

The family would also like to say Thank You to the tireless efforts of the Doctors and Nurses at Vitas Healthcare. You all made the passing of a Husband, Father, Grand-Father and Great-Grandfather less difficult.
After the Memorial Service, the family would like everyone to attend a gathering at 119 Rose Briar Drive, Longwood, Florida.
