John Samuel Walls, 96 died peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Longwood Florida.
John was born on June 4, 1920 in Copperhill Tennessee. John was blessed by a large and loving family. He married his wife Agnes Nichols on September 6, 1941 in Anderson, South Carolina. He was kind and soft-spoken. He help raise his children with love, patience, discipline, humility and faith in God. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace in his heavenly home with God.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Agnes, his two daughters, Kate Walls, Cathy Walls and son Ray Walls, his two grandsons Ken Miller and John Daw and his great granddaughter Caroline Walls.
John is survived by his daughters Brenda Fay Miller (Ken), daughter-in-law Barbara, Phyllis Daw, husband Woody (deceased), and his son Roger Walls (Ruth). And his grandchildren, Elissa, Jeffrey, Matthew (Matt), and Jason. Also his great grandchildren, Gabriel (Gabe), Ethan, Olivia, Kyle, Jacob, Jillian, Emily and Finley.
Visitation on September, 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church Longwood, 891 State Road 434, Longwood Florida, 32750. Service at 11:00 A.M. First Baptist Church Longwood. Burial immediately following at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 5000 County Rd 46A, Sanford Florida 32771.
