Hamlett, John William, Jr.- Age 62, of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009. He was born Erie, Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a retired police officer.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy McKenna, daughter, Robin Poalillo; mother, Lucy Hamlett; sister, Joanne Dean, Sister, Diane Weisthmeyer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Broadway United Methodist Church, 406. E. Amelia Street, Downtown Orlando, on the corner of Amelia and Broadway.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of John W. Hamlett, Jr. to the Veterans of Foreign Wars #5405, 420 North Edgemon Ave., Winter Springs, FL 32708
