John Dorsey Williamson, 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
John was born on December 25, 1932 in Savannah, Georgia to Vernon and Proney (Bashlor) Williamson who have both preceded him in death. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from the F.B.I. with 32 years of service. John was a supporter of the Eagle Scouts and a fan of the Orlando Magic. He enjoyed swimming, tennis, traveling, especially cruises, dancing and eating peanuts. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished spending time with his family. He was an active member of South Orlando Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Sarah H. (Walker) Williamson; daughters, Joy F. Ericksen and Jane M. Collins; step-son, Thomas J. Hisker, Jr.; son-in-law, Charles F. Ericksen, III; sister, Reba Penharlow and his grandchildren, Bradley M. Collins, Kayla F. Collins, Brooke S. Collins, Aiden C. Ericksen and Reid C. Ericksen.
