Johnny C. Lamb departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the age of 70. Johnny was born on July 7, 1947 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Freddie and Frances Hobbs Lamb. He was one of six children.
He relocated to Central Florida in the mid 60's and married the love of his life, Sandra Simms and together they raised two children.
Johnny retired from the construction industry as a transport driver. He enjoyed fishing every chance he had, spending quality time with his family and cooking, especially on the grill.
He will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
Memories will be cherished by his children, Russell Lamb (Danette) and Susan Harvey (Henry); sisters, Patsy Campbell, Edna Burgess (Jarrell) and Carol Tchebanoff (Mike); grandchildren, Cortney, Johnny, Amber and Chelsea; and great grandson, Jacob; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and his canine companion, Zeke.
Johnny was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra; and his two brothers.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2PM to 3PM on Wednesday, August 23rd at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 with a memorial service to follow at 3PM.
