Jon Poivret Baggett, age 77, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his vibrant personality and generous heart.

Jon had a special fondness for Shadyside Maryland, where he enjoyed memorable vacations and created lasting memories with his family. He was known as the life of the party, with a unique ability to bring people together and create joyful experiences. Though he could be rough around the edges, those who knew him best understood that he had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

A passionate fan of NASCAR, Jon also found great enjoyment in watching Judge Judy, often sharing a laugh with family over his favorite shows. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his loved ones, relishing the simple moments that made life truly special.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Poivret Baggett and Elizabeth Jane Baggett. Jon is survived by his devoted wife, Pat Baggett; his daughter, Jeannette Carroll Molnar; his favorite son in law, Andy Molnar; his son John Poivret Baggett II; and his cherished grandson, Elek Molnar.

Jon will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Private services will be held by the family.
