Jorge "Weby" Rolon, age 84, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
He was born on January 11, 1940 in Aibonito, PR, son to his late parents, Jorge and Ramonita (Vazquez) Rolon.
Jorge is survived by his four children; his son, George Rolon (Demaris Rolon), three daughters, Lissa Rolon, Lissette Teresi, Rosemarie Rolon; eight grandchildren, Vannesa Poole (Bill Poole), Amanda Iscoa, Alexandrea Chokanis (Cole Chokanis), Elizabeth Teresi, Joslyn Dahlberg, Jorge Rolon, Isabella Teresi, and Jadin Dahlberg; one great-granddaughter, Catalina Poole; four brothers, Edwin Rolon, Pete Rolon, Charlie Rolon, and Fred Rolon; and four sisters, Lucy Santiago, Betsy Marrero, Minerva Rolon, and Lillian Rolon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosa Rolon; and a brother, Albert Rolon.
Jorge married Rosa on November 19, 1961 in New Jersey where they met. He started his career with the United States Postal Service and transferred his position with his family to Florida in 1987. Retiring after 35 years as an OCR Operator, he took on a new role as full-time grandfather. He spent his days telling stories to family, jokes to the kids, playing bingo, bowling, gardening, watching The Price Is Right, and working on projects with his friends. His presence, smile, and few to many words- every person he encountered he left an everlasting impression on.
