Jose "Piro" M. Maldonado Rivera, age 61, of Winter Park, FL passed away Tuesday August 4, 2015.
Jose was born to Rafael Maldonado Ayala and Emma Rita Rivera on July 2, 1954 in San Juan, PR. He is survived by his wife, Frances Maldonado; children, Jose Rafael Maldonado, Diana Kaplan, and Sophia Berrios; grandchildren, Alexander Manuel Kaplan, Isabelle Bonita Kaplan, Emma Felice Kaplan, Adrian Jose Berrios, Elizabeth Sophia Berrios and Gilmary Ramos; and sister, Emma Rosa Maldonado.
Jose was a US Army veteran and later a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service.
Visitation is Saturday August 8, 2015 from 3pm to 4pm with funeral service starting at 4pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
