Jose M. Quintana, 78, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Orlando, FL. Jose was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico on May 22, 1938 to the late Estanilao Quintana and Fermina Figueroa.
For the majority of his career, Jose worked as a casket manufacturer for Cardinal Caskets. Some of his many hobbies included: camping, hosting BBQs and trying his luck out at the casinos. He will be remembered for his love for life and sharing his good sense of humor.
Jose is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josefa; children, Annette Montanez and her husband Anthony, Maggie Quintana and her fiancé Jim and Joey Quintana and his life partner Joey; five brothers and two sisters; eight grandkids and fourteen adoring great grandkids. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Family will greet friends from 1PM to 4PM on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL. Funeral services will take place at 11AM on Monday, February 27th at the First United Church of Christ, 4605 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando, FL.
