Ramos, Jose Rafael (TSGT, USAF; Ret.)- Age 75 of Orlando, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010. He was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico. He was a retired Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was an aircraft and automobile Mechanic. He retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a founding member of the Asociacion Borinqueña of Central Florida. He was civic minded and an active member of his community. Pepin always put family and friends before himself. He was strong in his conviction and quick to express it, but always with love in his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Maria G. Ramos; daughters, Deborah Ramos, Kathryn Ramos Kalish and Suzanne Ramos Gates, son, Jose R. Ramos, Jr.; Brothers, Modesto Rodriguez and Arion Ramos, sisters, Carmen Camacho and Aida Cardona; grandchildren, Michele Childress, Steven Marchetti, Nicolas Hidalgo, Allison Kalish and Alex Ramos, great-grandson Gavin Marzka.
A gathering of friends will be held at the family's home at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
