Jose Alcangel "Papo" Soto, 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Florida East Hospital in Orlando.
He leaves his loving brother and sister Alfredo Hernandez and Martha Rodriguez; he had two sons, Jose Soto Jr. and Anthony Vidak Soto (deceased), one daughter, Delia Vidak Soto, 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; loving Nephew Alfredo Hernandez Jr, loving niece and great-niece Viviana Hernandez and Arianna Morales, and great-nephew Liam, as well as adoring friends.
Papo was born and raised in Aguada, Puerto Rico and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of beloved mother Francisca "Pancha" Gonzalez (deceased).
Papo loved going to the beach and loved the ocean, enjoyed going out for meals with his brother and never turned down a chance for a good game of dominoes, he enjoyed his scratch off tickets and indulging his sweet tooth with chocolate bars!
A funeral service was held on August 18 at Newcomer Funeral Homes of Orlando, Florida.
