Joseph B. Batka

Joseph B. Batka, 48 of Winter Park passed away peacefully at his home Wed. Dec. 13th . Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he moved to Central Florida in 1988. While he was retired from Florida Hospital, he was known to be a "jack of all trades" and a helper to all. He was a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred and sons, "J.P." and Rudy all of Winter Park; mother, Barbara Batka of Allentown, PA; granddaughter, Natalya. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Sun. Dec. 17th in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM up until service time. To leave a special message for the family online, please visit www.newcomerfamily.com.
