Joseph D'Amato, 69 of Orlando, FL passed away Fri. Sept. 4, 2009. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Central Florida in 1996. He was retired from S.M.W.I.A. Local Union 28 in New York and was of the Catholic Faith. He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Joseph M. D'Amato; daughter, Nicole Damm; brother, Salvatore D'Amato; sisters, Martha Fitzpatrick, Mary Mosca, Roselia Petty and Carlene Cassani and his grandchildren, Matthew Erras and Britney D'Amato.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM up until service time and again from 6:00 – 8:00 PM that evening.
