Paquin, Joseph E.- Passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at age 86 from cancer. Interment and graveside services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Mr. Paquin was born August 21, 1919 in Attleboro, MA. He served with the US Navy Seabee's during WWII in the Pacific Theater. In 1950, Mr. Paquin moved from Providence, RI to Apopka where he resided until 1973 when he moved to Orlando. After a career of working as a union plasterer, he joined Walt Disney World's Staff Craft Shop in 1970. He retired from Disney in 1988. Mr. Paquin was a life time member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BM & IPU Local 15), and the US Navy Seabee Veterans of America from Island X-4. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia. He is survived by his sister Eilleen Charron of Attleboro, MA, brother, Harold Paquin of Winter Park, FL, daughter, Diana Tyre of Apopka, and his son, Joe Paquin of Winter Park; along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
