Joseph R. Perez, age 89 of Orlando, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born on February 19, 1924 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to Jose Ramon Perez and Rosa Velazquez.
He was a veteran of WWII and served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Ramonita Perez; son, Jose Felipe Perez; daughter, Providence Simon; son, Jesus Amado Perez Lancios; daughter, Gina R. Perez-Calhoun; daughter, Jossie Perez-Rode; son, Jose R. Perez; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM Tuesday, July 2 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
