Joseph "Joe" L. Stokes, age 82, of Orlando, FL passed away April 20, 2016.
He was born on December 15, 1933 in Bethel, NC to the late Lonnie Pitt and Ethel Stokes. He is also preceded in death by his son, Joseph Stokes.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Christine Stokes, children, Shelia A. Bayley, Pamela D. Graham, Jeffrey Stokes, and Dempsey Short; God-daughter, Krystal Phillips; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday April 29, 2016 from 11am to 1pm with funeral service starting at 1pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
