On Sunday, January 30, 2022, Joy Ann passed away peacefully at home.
Joy Ann was born in Orlando, Florida on November 15, 1931 to JB and Lois Hensley. Six years later after her mother died, Joy Ann went to live with her grandmother until her father's marriage to Willa Lee Rogers. Once they started a family, she subsequently became a sister to 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Roger, Marilyn, Jimmy and Gail.
Joy Ann graduated from Wildwood High School in 1950 and moved to Orlando where she met her future husband Tom Fenicle, they had 2 children, Mark and Karen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lois Hensley, JB and Willa Lee Hensley and Brother, Roger (Marcia) Hensley. She is survived by Daughter, Karen Eramo, Son, Mark (Denise) Fenicle, Sister, Marilyn (Jay) Grimes, Sister-In-Law, Marcia Hensley, Brother, Jimmy (Vicky) Hensley, Sister, Gail (Rufus) Blanton, Granddaughter, Heather (Jesse) Alston, Grandson, Brian Fenicle, Granddaughter, Megan Fenicle, Granddaughter, Amy Fenicle, former daughter-in-law Sandy Fenicle, and former son-in-law, Frank Eramo.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Cremations, Funerals and Receptions located at 895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, Florida 32822. A luncheon will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to your local Homeless Shelter.
