Joy Leahgoodwin Bristow

Joy Leah Goodwin Bristow met her Lord and Savior on December 12, 2007 at the age of 75 years old. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana to Ralph and Amelia Goodwin on May 13, 1932. Survived by two sisters; Leta Renfroe and Janice Coniglio, and Delores Goodwin, sister-in-law. Three daughters; Paula Edgin, Carla Bruton, and Kellie Reed. She has seven grandchildren; Mickey and Aaron Edgin, Nicholas Parish, Danielle Amersbache, and Jessica, Hailee and Carly Reed. She has four great grandchildren; Abigael, Aidan, Lily and Ethan Edgin.
Joy served her country as a Navy Corpman in the Korean War. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital as an LPN. Joy continued her passion to love and care for pediatric children in semi-retirement in Orlando, Florida.
Joy loved her Lord, family and country and she will be missed by all. She attended Calvary Assembly Church.
Services will be held at Greenwood Cemetary on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm.
