Juan M. Fernandez

On 27 August 2021, Juan Fernandez of East Orlando, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend was called to be with the Lord at the age of 85 years.

Juan immigrated to the United States from Cuba, and he loved being an American Citizen. He displayed his love of his country at every opportunity that he had. Juan devoted his life to his family and to his work. He was known for his kindness, humor and he made everyone laugh. Most importantly, he was always willing to help friends and family. Juan was a giver with a big heart.

In his lifetime, he worked in carpentry, and he was employed by Walt Disney World for 32 successful years. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Juan is survived by his loving children: Isabel Minner, Juan "John" Fernandez and Luis "David" Fernandez, granddaughters Danielle Fernandez and Sara Fernandez Daly, grandson Joshua Cronin, daughters-in-law Susan Fernandez and Laura Fernandez, and son-in-law, Paul Minner.

Juan was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Francisca, his parents Felix and Tomasa, and grandson David R. Fernandez.
