Celebration of Juan Lopez' Life
He was born on June 20, 1967 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and grew up in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico close to the beach. Early in life he was passionate for surfing, skateboarding, and skimboarding. His charisma made him create special friends everywhere. Everybody called him John John. After graduating from college he moved to Odessa, Texas where he spent many years working for Odessa Regional Medical Center. He was passionate and dedicated to service adults and children. He was also a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints.
John John was a true inspiration and fighter with such a happy spirit. He lost his battle to ALS, but he is now free in the Kingdom of Heaven.
John John is survived by his loving wife, Marta Santiago, daughters: Yomaris Lopez, Tatiana Lopez, and Adriana Lopez; 1 grandchild, Yandel Rodriguez; step-daughter: Jennifer Tavera; step-son: Rafael Tavera; his mother: Aida Perez; brother: Antonio Lopez; sister: Maritza Lopez; and his beloved dog: Atika

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association Florida Chapter.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 5:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd., Orlando, FL 32822. A funeral service will follow from 6:00-7:00 PM.
