Juan Hector Perez
More than just a handsome face, Hector was a symphony of roles: son, brother, father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. He passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Words cannot express the depth of our love for him. His passing left a void so vast, the ache settling heavy on each of us. Yet, in the face of this profound loss, we did what Hector would have wanted - we came together, from all corners of the earth, as far as Alaska! At one point he opened his eyes, and it was like a wave of relief washed over the room, we all said he saw us he knew we were there. When asked what we could get for him, in true Hector fashion he responded, a beer and lobster!
Hector was a treasure, his gentle spirit leaving an indelible mark on each of us. To know you are loved so fiercely, so unconditionally, even in your final breath - that is the most precious legacy he leaves behind.
Hector lived a life overflowing with experiences, a mosaic of laughter, warmth, and unwavering love. He will be missed profoundly, yet the echo of his presence will forever resonate within us. We, his family, are forever grateful to have been a part of his extraordinary journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to kindly donate to one of the following charities: The Parkinson's Foundation, The American Parkinson Disease Association, or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Thank you.
