Judith Torres Menendez

Judith Torres Menendez, age 95, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at her home in Orlando.

She was born on July 1, 1928 in Mayaguez, PR; daughter to her late parents, Eladio Torres and Francisca Menendez.

Judith is survived by her son, Miguel Dominguez; two daughters, Ruth E. Dominguez, and Khyrsys Dominguez; six grandchildren, Vymarys Judith Dominguez, Angel E. Dominguez, Synayzka K. Cruz, Joyce R. Gonzalez, Jessica J. Gonzalez, and Wilmer L. Gonzalez; and four great-grandchildren, Andrea V. Forristall, Alessandra I. Duarte, Carla Ortega, and Noeli Cruz Ortega. She was also loved and cared for by her daughter-in-love, Ruth Dominguez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Miguel Angel Dominguez Rivera; two sisters, Maria Teresa Torres, and Elizabeth Torres; and a brother, Victor Torres.

Judith was an active member of Iglesia Pentecostal MI (Los Mangos) for more than 60 years, where she served as a leader of many ministries and where she taught Sunday school for more than 40 years.
She worked as a medical secretary and office manager for Dr. Luis Vazquez, M.D. for more than 35 years. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of a life of service, a strong faith in God, and unselfish love.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, with Pastor Charlie Hernandez officiating.

The services will be available to be viewed via livestream by clicking here and will be available for up to 90 days after the service date.

Visitation and viewing will be on Wednesday, April 10 preceding the service from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the funeral home.

Interment and committal services will be on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 9:30 am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US-1, Mims, Florida 32754.

Nació el 1 de julio de 1928 en Mayagüez, PR; hija de sus difuntos padres, Eladio Torres y Francisca Menéndez.
A Judith le sobreviven su hijo, Miguel Domínguez; dos hijas, Ruth E. Domínguez y Khyrsys Domínguez; seis nietos, Vymarys Judith Domínguez, Angel E. Domínguez, Synayzka K. Cruz, Joyce R. Gonzalez, Jessica J. Gonzalez y Wilmer L. Gonzalez; y cuatro bisnietos, Andrea V. Forristall, Alessandra I. Duarte, Carla Ortega y Noeli Cruz Ortega. También fue amada y cuidada por su nuera, Ruth Domínguez Rodriguez.
Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres; su esposo, Miguel Ángel Domínguez Rivera; dos hermanas, María Teresa Torres y Elizabeth Torres; y un hermano, Víctor Torres. Judith fue miembro activo de la Iglesia Pentecostal MI (Los Mangos) durante más de 60 años, donde

se desempeñó como líder de muchos ministerios y donde enseñó en la escuela dominical durante más de 40 años.
Trabajó como secretaria médica y gerente de oficina para el Dr. Luis Vázquez, M.D. durante más de 35 años.
Ella deja atrás un hermoso legado de una vida de servicio, una fuerte fe en Dios y amor desinteresado.

Los Servicios Funerarios se llevarán a cabo el miércoles 10 de abril de 2024 a las 6:30 pm en la Funeraria Newcomer - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, con el Pastor Charlie Hernández oficiando.
