Ortega Alvarez, Julio- Age 77, of Orlando, passed away on Tuesday, august 3, 2004. He was born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. He is survived by his wife, Blanca Ortega; daughters, Mercedes Ortega-Bonser and Elizabeth Ortega-Ferguson; step-sons Danny Garcia & his wife, Kathryn and Carlos Alberto Garcia; sisters, Confe Esoria and Constancia Ortega; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 5, 2004 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 6, 2004 in the Newcomer Family Funeral Home chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Newcomer Family Funeral Home, Orlando, 407-277-4227.
