June Johnson stepped into Heaven at the age of 90 on October 15, 2013.
She was born on June 19, 1923 to Martin and Lucy Anderson in Modesto, California. She graduated from Modesto High School, and later graduated from BIOLA where she met Arvin Johnson. They were married July 18, 1946. Together they served with Village Missions for nearly thirty-two years as pastor of rural churches in California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nebraska and Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Arvin E. Johnson. She is survived by her sister, Donna Mathews and husband, Harold, of Placerville, California; son, Fred Johnson and wife, Patty, of Clermont, Florida; a daughter, Lanita Every and husband, Norm of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren, David Johnson, Brian Johnson, Deanna (Every) Scott, Lanelle (Every) Emerson and Melanie (Every) Carroll; and eight great-grandchildren.
