Karin Alice Lindborg, 67 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2011. She was born on January 21, 1944 in Darby, Pennsylvania to Carl Lindborg and Alice Whitten Lindborg. She was a Professor of English at Kean University in Union, New Jersey. She held her degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania. Karin loved music and played the piano, guitar and French horn. She was also a lover of art. Karin was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Skandia, a New Jersey chapter of the VASA Order of America, a life member of the Swedish Colonial Society and Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century.
Karin is survived by her daughter, Karin Jimenez; husband, James Liccone; brother, Carl Lindborg; sister, Linnea Tomquist; granddaughter, Diana Jimenez and grandson, Alexander Medina; nephews, Carter Lindborg and Carl E. Tomquist and nieces, Karin and Gunvor Tomquist.
