Ms. Kathleen (Katie) Josiah Bryant, a retired educator for Brevard County, died Thursday, February 18 in Alexandria, Virginia.
The Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 a.m. EDT Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 South Goldenrod in Orlando. Bishop Merton Clark will officiate. There will be no viewing prior to or during the service.
A native of Republic of Panama, she was a retired educator and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children Juana Bryant, Starla Bryant and A.J. Josiah; Grandchild Imani Freeman; Sisters Margret Lynch, and Ilene Josiah; Brothers Cuthbert Josiah, Carlton Josiah and John Josiah; and a host of nieces an nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Jane Josiah; brothers Ralph and Dennis Josiah; and sisters Justina James and Charlotte Layne.
