Kathryn Slover

Kathryn Slover, 96 of Apopka, FL passed away on June 2, 2021. She was born on November 30, 1924 in Laurens, South Carolina. Kathryn over the years had a variety of jobs ranging from a Dispatcher for the police department, to selling real estate and different chicken farms. Her last job was working with her husband for over 10 years as the owners of Southern Cactus, a plant nursery. She loved to make dish gardens and care for her family and friends. Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Slover; her brothers, John Boyd and Henry Boyd; and by her sister, Mary Rotteger. She is survived by her sons: Donald Slover and Robert Slover, her 7 grandchildren, her 6 great grandchildren and her 6 great great grandchildren.

Services will be at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 7 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with service follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
