Kay Elaine Evans, age 79, of Longwood, FL passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020. She was the loving wife of Al Evans.
Kay was born on October 15, 1940 in Flint, MI; daughter to the late Gerald E. and Mildred E. (Johnson) Parks. On a beach in St. Petersburg, FL, she met the love of her life, Al Evans. They were married on May 6, 1960. Kay and her husband, Al, of sixty years, enjoyed family gatherings, dinners out, trips to North Carolina and special occasions. Kay touched peoples lives in such a positive way; she was a loving, caring woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Christian and instilled great life examples and was a great role model. Family was a very important part of her life. Kay obtained her Realtor's license and also worked as mortgage broker before her retirement.
At the age of 65, Kay bravely fought and courageously battled breast cancer, showing her family what strength really looks like! She was greatly admired by her family and friends for her caring and selfless nature. Everyone who knew her, especially her family was so blessed to have been a part of Kay's life. She had so many people that loved her and she will be greatly missed, but she leaves behind a beautiful and lasting family legacy. We will remember her for her unconditional love for her husband of 60 years, her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, her love for God, her love for dancing, and her love for the beach.
