Kay Carol Grizzard Stewart, 81, of Orlando, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2020. If you knew Kay you know she is quite humorous and a firecracker. She would approve of this date.
Kay was born in Sparrow Point near Baltimore, MD to George Russell Grizzard (9/12/1898-1974) and Elvy Viola Smith (7/4/1910-7/4/1944), born on December 21, 1938. She has a surviving brother, Ronald Gene Grizzard (Marge), West Virginia.
As a young adult she lived in Tampa, Florida where she meet the love of her life, Frederick Eugene Stewart. They were married for 46 years and this year would of celebrated 60 years. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, and parents. She is survived by her two sons, Scott Frederick Stewart (Mary) of Chipley, Fl. and Michael James Stewart (Amy) of Winter Park, Fl., 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Due to covid-19, a memorial service will include sending out memorial cards of Kay Stewart with online access to a DVD of her life in photos at www.NewcomerOrlando.com
Kay cherished her cats and all animals and used her voice for them. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any local humane society or animal preserve in her name.
