"Life is a stage preparing us for Eternity." Dr. Carolyn Broom
On March 25, 1965 in Salem, MA...Adrien Keith Newman stepped into time and was placed in the arms of Constance and Edward Newman.
Keith spent all of is formative years in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1984. While in HS, he played basketball. (The sport of the Newman Family). He always had a desire to move to California and hoped to break into acting and modeling. January 1986 he realized that dream and was soon joined by his best friend Jayson Tucker. While in California he made the greatest decision of his life. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Leave it to Keith to find a Church called "The Hiding Place" where people went to church in shorts and bathing suits ready to hit the beach and surf. He attended church with people like Howard Hewitt and Nia Peoples (who I think he had a crush on).
Keith experienced one earthquake and decided to relocate. He traded earthquakes for hurricanes and moved to Winter Park, Florida to live with his sister, Carolyn, brother-in-law, Duane and niece Deneige. (late 1987/early 1988). He attended Orlando Christian Center with the Brooms and made many life long friendships.
On August 18, 2001 Keith entered into marriage with LaShandri Foxx and remained a faithful, loving, and caring husband his remaining days.
Keith worked at a number of jobs and was a business owner but settled in the security field like his father. He never gave up his quest to act/model and realized a measure of success in commercials for Universal, Publix, movies (as an extra), and a plethora of print jobs. Keith had just finished a modeling job days prior to his promotion to glory.
He loved talking about the Bible and sharing Jesus with people. He would say, "(insert name) you know you need to get saved." "If you don't accept Jesus you will not go to heaven." Or he would ask, "Do you know Jesus?" Keith was bol in his profession of faith!
On March 6, 2014 in Orlando, FL while at work, Keith stepped out of the time and into Eternity and was placed in the arms of Jesus.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, LaShandri Foxx, Mother, Constance Newman, Father, Edward Newman, Sister, Carolyn Broom, Brother, Gary Newman, Nephew, Jamie Newman, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th from 10:00AM to 11:AM at Everlasting Covenant Christian Center, 1250 Piedmont-Wekiva Road, Apopka, Florida immediately followed by Funeral service at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka.
