Keith Robert Berberich, age 64, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 in Tampa, FL.
Keith was born on February 1, 1955; son of the late Robert and Frances M. (LaPlante) Berberich. On September 30, 1978, he married Donna Elliott. He was a retired torpedoman's mate technician for the United States Navy, proudly serving his country from 1973-1993. Later, he was a transit bus mechanic for Lynx Transportation. He was a former steward and member of Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU Local 1596).
Keith is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna; his daughter, Gloria Williams-Ortiz and her husband, Luis of Thornton, CO; his son, Matthew Berberich of Orlando; two grandchildren, Ember Williams of Denver, CO, and Remy Ortiz of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, Donna Lowell and her husband, Paul, of North Plainfield, NJ, Patricia Clark of Lexington, SC, and Linda Berberich of Scotch Plains, NJ; and two brothers, Kevin and Kenneth Berberich, both of Scotch Plains, NJ.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822. Military Honors will be performed by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
