Keith Fitz Errol Harry, age 71, of Orlando, FL peacefully passed away Thursday January 19, 2017 surrounded by family.
Keith was born on December 5, 1945 in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Stanley Harry and Doris Byfield.
Growing up in Jamaica he enjoyed playing cricket, soccer and a variety of board games of which dominoes was his favorite, he was a tough competitor. He went to St. Aloysius Boys' School and St Martins High School. After graduation he went to work for the Ministry of Labor.
In the late sixties he migrated to the United States of America. There he settled down and started a family. He worked for AT & T before joining the United States Postal Service. He developed a love for football and played with friends on the weekends and was an avid Jets fan.
In the mid nineties he transferred and moved to Orlando where he continued to work for the Postal Service until retirement. He enjoyed his work there and developed good relationships with his customers who loved and appreciated him. He always had funny and interesting stories about incidents on his routes.
Keith was a warm-hearted and fun loving guy who was always kind and generous. His laughter and ability to make others smile was his gift. People could not help but instantly like and befriend him.
He enjoyed his trips to the casino, his music, hanging out with his coworkers and friends, football weekends and of course Friday night domino games with the Cross Town Domino Club.
He is survived by his children, Michele Harry, Keith Fitz Errol Harry Jr., Felecia A. Harry, and Tasha S. Harry; grandchildren, Aleciyah Johnson, Kiyla Glover, Kingston Errol Glover, Alexis Reeves, Gabrielle Prendergast, Jahnai N. Harry, Jada A. Harry, Jemenai N. Harry, and Jasmine Cartwright; siblings, Earl C. Harry, Cecelia E. Levy, Vilma I. Davis, Louie B. Harry, and Shirley McDonald, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation is Friday January 27, 2017 from 4pm to 7pm with funeral service starting at 7pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
Repass follows the service at the clubhouse at 1475 High Point Blvd., Orlando, FL.
