Ken Kiang departed from this life on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Orlando, FL.

Ken was born in Miao Li, Taiwan on June 1932 to the late Ching Ting Kiang and Yuan Mei Chieu. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Chen Kiang.

Ken is survived by his brother, Clyde Kiang (May); his daughters, Joanna (Paul) and Naomi (Robert); son, Mark; and grandchildren, Patrick, Isabella, Corey, Junuh, Ethan, and Noah.

Ken was a very accomplished, kind, generous and hard working person. Starting from high school, he helped his mother to raise his nine brothers and sisters when his father passed away. He received his associate degree in accounting and worked for the Taiwanese government. At 47, he brought his family of five and immigrated to the United States. He started from scratch and built his way up to become the successful owner of Great Wall Restaurant in South Bend, IN for 27 years. Ken was passionate about good food, and he was instrumental in helping many people in his lifetime. His hobbies were tree planting, picture taking, and baseball. He was also a great provider and a loving father, grandfather, and husband. His bright smile will be missed.

Funeral service is Sunday March 5, 2017 starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel).
