Kenneth Andrew Puckett, 76, of Orlando, FL, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2023.
He was born in Louisville, KY on September 14, 1947 to the late William R. Puckett and Rita C. Puckett. Kenneth graduated from Saint Aloysius High School in Shepherdsville, KY. He was married to Nancy (Huff) on March 23, 1985.
Kenneth held several maintenance positions during his working years, but his favorite job was being a Grandpa.
He was a member of South Bumby Church of Christ in Orlando, FL.
Kenneth loved to fish, and he loved the outdoors. He was also an avid walker and hiker, and in 2003 he completed the Walt Disney World Marathon in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He was very skillful with repairing and fixing things, and many friends relied on his handiwork.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a son, Jason, of Live Oak, FL; step-sons, Jeffrey Neely (Dawn), Michael Neely, and Patrick (Trinh) Neely; a sister, Joan (Gordon) Bush; a brother, Dennis Puckett; and eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Kenneth's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (give.michaeljfox.org).
A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM. All services will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 South Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822.
