d. August 19, 2009

MOAR, KENNETH T., 90, of Winter Park, FL died Aug. 19, 2009 from complications of a long and happy life. Born in Canada, Ken served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII as a pilot, flying Lancaster Bombers out of England. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church for eleven years, where he became a believer in Jesus Christ. Later he became an active member at Orangewood Presbyterian Church in Maitland. Ken was in land real estate for many years, but his real desire was to serve the Lord. In 1984, Ken became a US citizen and was very proud to be able to vote. In 1986 he became involved in the "Man in the Mirror" men's Bible study and continued as a stable leader until 2009. Survivors include his wife, Lee; two daughters, Nancy Pfingsten (Bill), and Marian Armstrong (Ray); grandsons, Ian (Shannon), Matthew, Bradley, Preston Toor (Jen); granddaughters, Lindsey and Lauren Armstrong; great-granddaughter, Isabella Toor.
