Kermit Joseph Folse

Folse, Kermit J., a native of Raceland, Louisiana and resident of Orlando passed away on Fri. Feb. 19th. Memorial services will be held at 7 PM on Wed. Feb. 24th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando. Born in South Louisiana on Oct. 26, 1954, he was the son of Horace and Noella Danos Folse who are deceased. He is survived by a son, Troy Folse, brothers, Frederick and Kevin; sister, Betty Guilbeau; grandchildren, Trevor and Trista Folse; step mother, Ella Jean Folse and girlfriend,Sandra Horne. Kermit, known as "Kermi" to friends,had a passion for singing. Kermi's "Joe Cocker" style raspy voice and "Blues Brothers" impersonation won him many competitions. He proudly entertained his audiences as a Karaoke show host and DJ. He will be missed by many.
