Our friend and my companion for 37 years, Kevin Moss has passed away. He found out he had Cancer in March and on May 8th the struggle ended. He was at ORMC in the hospice unit until his last few days. He was made very comfortable and passed quietly with his kids, me and his mother around him.
It was a very fast moving cancer, and there was such a short time once he found out.
The information of how sick he was, was not made known to many of us. He spent Monday the 30th of April, his birthday, with his kids and his mother. The kids will always remember a nice celebration with their dad. He went in the hospital on Tuesday and as soon as the kids and I found out, on Friday, we were there to be with him at the end of his journey.
Kevin made many friends over the years which he never neglected to make each one a target for his humor and his respect. No matter how long you have known him, I am sure each one of you will be able to recall a story that will start with, "Do you remember when Kevin did....' and then ending with something like..."that was fun".
No matter what was going on in our family life, I have always loved him with all my heart. I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It is still so much of a shock that it is hard to comprehend. He will be deeply missed.
Always, Trish
