Kieya Lee-Ann Grant

July 31, 1993 — July 24, 2021

Kieya Lee-Ann Grant was born on July 31, 1993 to her parents, Sandra Levine and Stephen Grant on the beautiful island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Nickname Kiki, like her big sister Kira. She came into this world full of personality, spunk and joy.

At the age of three, Kieya moved to Eustis, Florida to live with her godmother, Regina Sapp for seven years. While there, she attended Eustis Heights Elementary School until she graduated from 5th grade. Kieya then moved with her mother, Sandra who had relocated to Orlando. She attended Robin Hood School and then Agape Christian Academy. She completed her education at Edison Job Corp in New Jersey, where she graduated with her degree in Business Administration.

On January 19, 2015, Kieya gave birth to a beautiful, smart and outspoken baby girl, Ka'Niyah Fleming. She too came into the world full of personality like her mom. She was perfect in Kieya's eyes! Kieya was so excited and proud to become a mother. She made sure Niyah had everything and anything she needed. They did so many fun things together, creating priceless memories. Kieya truly enjoyed spending time with her daughter and loved her with everything in her being.

Kieya was a sweet, kind, and loving soul. She was funny, loved a good joke but she was always ready for anything, at anytime and anywhere. She was very protective over her family and friends. Willing to defend them without question. She was strong, brilliant, resilient, bold, loving and caring.

Kieya, my friend, my baby sister, we all miss you so much already, words cannot describe this feeling. Sis, you left us way before your time but God had greater plans for you. But you left us with your beautiful princess, who will be greatly loved, cherished and cared for the rest of her life.

Let us all remember her love, her strength, her laughter, her contagious smile and all the wonderful memories we shared with Keiya! She was the official ride or die.

Kieya survived by her six year old daughter, Ka'Niyah Fleming. Her mother, Sandra Levine. Her father, Stephen Grant. Her stepmother, Cindy Brown. Her stepfather, Alton Clarke. Her sisters, Kira Levine, Tahisha Bazile, and brother-in-law, Dormois Bazile. Her brothers, Jamel Levine, Stephen Grant Jr., Kareem Grant, Ahijah Grant. Her grandmother, Verna Roberts. Her aunts, Iola Clarke Carty, Diana Clarke. Her uncles, Patrick Grant, Hugo Grant, Halsted Grant. Special uncles, Douglas Daniel, Ariel Turnbull. Her godmother, Claudette Buchanan. Her close friends, Kim Smith-Francois, Lalique Richardson, Rasheed Fleming (Ka'Niyah's father), JaDeyah Joseph. Her significant other, Mikell Berry. Her extended family, Sapp Family and many other relatives and friends.

When life closes the door, memories open the windows. We love you forever Kieya!
