Lancelot Anthony Jones

Lancelot Anthony Jones, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Orlando, FL at the age of 52. He was born on July 19, 1965 in Negril, Westmoreland Jamaica. He is the beloved son of Laurel James and the late Vincent Jones. Lance was one of seven children.
He married the love of his life, Audrey Mullings on July 17, 1993 and together they raised three sons. For the majority of his career, he worked as a material specialist for the airline industry.
Lance will be remembered as a gentle giant who really loved his family, and had a deep love for his three sons. He appreciated the precious gift of life and showed it by quietly lending a hand everywhere and to everyone he could. He was truly a servant. Lance enjoyed traveling the world, studying pop culture and cheering for his favorite sports teams. He was also a fantastic cook that loved sharing his lavish meals with others.
Lance leaves wonderful memories to be cherished by his wife, Audrey; sons, Alex, Andrew and Adrian Jones; mother, Laurel; siblings, Novelette (Bibi), Georgia, Ilene, Keiffer, Lavern (Vernie) and Cosmore (Fritz); and a host of extended family members and friends. His charismatic and kind spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
A wake will be held from 5PM to 9PM on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 10:30AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Centerpointe Community Church of the Nazarene, 9580 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL 32825 with a Celebration of Lance's Life to follow at 12:00PM. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Rd., Orlando, FL 32817.
