It is with heavy hearts, yet fond memories, that we announce the passing of our beloved Layla Alisabeth Colon. Known to her family as Layz chips, Lary, LaLa, she blessed this earth with her presence on June 29, 2012, and left this world too soon on August 6, 2023.
Layz was a bright and spirited soul who brought joy to everyone she met. From her infectious laughter to her unwavering zest for life, she had a way of lighting up any room she walked into. Her vibrant imagination and creativity knew no bounds, often whisking her away to magical worlds where anything was possible.
A natural explorer, Lary's imagination was endless. She had a knack for turning everyday objects into extraordinary adventures. Blankets and pillows became a fortress, a backyard tree became a towering castle, and video games transported her to a fantasy realm. In fact, her imagination had the power to transport us all to an enchanting world where anything was possible.
Layla had a heart as big as her smile, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She had a special bond with animals and would spend hours playing with her furry friends. Her gentle touch and soothing voice brought comfort to many creatures who were fortunate to cross her path.
Our darling LaLa has left an indelible mark on the world and our lives. Though her time with us was too short, we are grateful for the immense joy and happiness she brought into our lives. She will forever live on in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment, love yourself, and be worthy. In her own words
"We are so beautiful, but not perfect. Just like everything and everyone around you. And that's what makes them YOU so special"
Now, our little adventurer takes flight on her grandest adventure yet. We envision her dancing among the stars, painting the sky with her vivid imagination, or in the clouds finishing her book. Farewell, Princess. May you forever dance in the sunshine and sprinkle stardust on our dreams.
