Leona G. Colburn

Leona Genevieve Colburn, 78 of Merritt Island passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She was born in Warren, Pennsylvania and worked as a seamstress and real estate agent prior to becoming a full time homemaker. She was of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Colburn of Merritt Island; sons, Dennis Colburn and his wife Holly of Tampa, FL, Thomas Colburn and his wife Cathy of Geneva, FL, David Colburn and his wife Karen of Ogden, Utah and Matthew Colburn of Corpus Christy, Texas; daughters, Kathryn Colburn of Tampa, FL and Deborah Carlson and her husband Mark of Feeemont, CA; brothers, Theodore Leofsky and his wife, Lenora of Coatsville, PA, Edward Leofsky and his wife Barbara of Girrad, PA, Peter Leofsky and his wife Bernice of Syracuse, N.Y. and Paul Leofsky of Youngsville, PA and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 5, 2008 in the Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 2400 S. Washington Avenue, Titusville. Interment will follow at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.
