Leone C. Canty

Canty, Leone Catherine- Died Thursday, September 16, 2004 from cancer. She was 46 years old. Leone was born in Orlando, baptized a Catholic and lived her entire life here. She loved people, was generously loving towards children, and had a tremendous number of friends. She had her own business, was an adventurous spirit and traveled often. Leone was the favorite Aunt, the closest sister, the best friend and the greatest daughter. Our lives are better because of her. We cannot explain why Leone had to go so soon, but we know she is in Heaven watching over us. Leone is survived by her parents, Francis G. (Frank) and Mary E. Canty; brothers, Frank Canty, Tom Canty and Mark Canty; sisters, Mary Clare Lankford, Theresa Anne Canty and Barbara Ellen Hopkins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, September 21, 2004 in Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 4545 E. Anderson Road, Orlando, with Fr. Bob Hoeffner as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, September 20, 2004.
