Welton-Chase, Lessie- Age 78, of Orlando passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2010. She was born in Jackson County, Florida. She was a retired employee for the Newark, New Jersey Board of Education.
She is survived by her daughters, Verline Miller and Zeater Welton; brother, Charles Welton, sister, Vonistine Williams, sister-in-Law, Delores Hobbs; aunts, Evelyn Jones Ruth Smith Eva Palmore and Mary Jane Lewis; uncle, Isaiah Brinson; granddaughter, Katherine Welton, grandsons, Kevin Welton and Maurice Welton.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 694 N. Dean Road, Orlando. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Interment will be in East Hanover, New Jersey, under the direction of Perry Funeral Home, Newark, New Jersey.
