Lester George ("Terry") Palmer
Lester George Palmer, 73, of Casselberry, FL. died August 29th 2015. "Terry" Palmer, son of Lester Silas Palmer and Lucetta Bessie Wallace (Hammond), loving husband of Barbara Ann Palmer, passed away on August 29th, after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his son Jefre and his two grandchildren Allison and Robert Palmer, FL. He is also survived by his immediate family of sisters Lonna White (Bob),KS; Pamela Puppe (Jerry),KS; Rebecca Palmer, MI; Sarah Palmer-Goode, MI; Renee Plesa (Eddie),KS; Brenda Bradshaw, KS; Eunice Closser,MO; his brothers Benjamin Palmer,CO; Jack Reed (Laurie),KS; John Reed (Sherri),KS; Jim Reed (Laurie),ME; and aunts Delores Palmer, Rose Palmer, Luanne Williamson (Rick), Grace Hammond who are all living in Minnesota.
Terry served life as a brother, husband, soldier, father, mentor, engineer, and friend; but more unspoken, he lived life as an artist, poet, philosopher, and teacher. Terry's heart and soul went into everything he did…paying attention to love the smallest details of life. He was tireless in his pursuits and timeless in his gifts. He was an influencer to a countless many, an inspiration to some, and a vessel of hope to a nameless few. The extent of Terry's graciousness and contribution are woven beyond measure in the lives he touched. He shared his love of life, faith, and family at every opportunity. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Longwood, Florida on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
