He was predeceased by his brother Harry J Green and 4 sisters, Dorothy (Wheaton) Green, Grace (Paradise) Green, Mildred (LeClair) Green and Isabella (Smith) Green. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired in 1984 from Raytheon Corporation after 35 years of service. He and Dorothy then relocated from Massachusetts to Florida to enjoy their retirement in Orlando, spending time with their numerous friends at home and to enjoy some well-deserved traveling, particularly cruises.
Lester was an avid fan of the New England sports teams, especially the Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots. Seeing the Red Sox win the World Series was one of his greatest joys. He and his beloved Dorothy always had a positive, "sunshine" attitude that could brighten anyone's day!
