Lexi Matthies

Lexi Matthies, age 14 of Winter Springs passed away Sunday, May 1, 2005 after a 2 year courageous battle with leukemia. She was born April 16, 1991 in Denver, CO and moved to Central Florida in 1993. Lexi was an 8th grade student at Indian Trails Middle School in Winter Springs. She was a member of the Dance Team at the University of Performing Arts Center in Oviedo.

Lexi is survived by her parents Chris and Julie Matthies of Winter Springs; Sisters, Jocelyn and Jade Matthies of Winter Springs; Maternal grandmother, Metha Doescher of O'Neill, Nebraska; Aunt, Deb McCabe of O'Neill, Nebraska; Uncle, Dave Doescher of DesMoines, Iowa.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church 2021 West S.R. 426, Oviedo, FL 32765 with Pastor Arp officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alexandria Matthies Trust Fund. Contributions may be mailed in care of St. Lukes Lutheran Church or left at the Church.
