Lilia Galdo Jaraplasan was surrounded by her loved ones when she peacefully passed on September 23, 2020.
A beloved wife, dedicated mother, loving grandmother, and cherished friend, Lilia's light touched the lives of people near and far. Her life's work as a physician is just one example of her love and compassion for people. Besides her unwavering devotion to her family, Lilia was known for selflessly thinking of and caring for others. She lived each day with intention. Her actions, however big or small, were pure and meant to show just how much she loved.
Lilia will be missed by many, but she is especially missed by her surviving husband, Romy; her children and daughters-in-law Irwin and Marian, and Romy Jr. and Family; and her grandchildren, Illyssa and Matthew. The eldest of six, Lilia is also greatly missed by her surviving brothers and sisters-in-law Arturo and Melba; McWain Jr. and Patricia; Robert and Miriam; and her sister, Nancy. Lilia's nephew McArthur and his family, as well as her several nieces and nephews and their families also miss her dearly.
Lilia has been welcomed into the Lord's kingdom by her parents, McWain Sr. and Leoncia, her baby brother, Albert, and her sweet daughter, Irene.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Service honoring Lilia's life and memory is on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. EST.
