Lilian P. Roberts

Lilian P. Roberts, 84, of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away on August 31, 2015 due to natural causes. Lilian, the eldest of seven children, was born near London, England to Andrew and Lilian Smith (nee James) and lived in Wallsend, England until she immigrated to the United States in 1951. She settled in Buffalo, NY where she met her husband, Tomas C. Roberts. Lilian and Tom married in 1955. The family moved to Altamonte Springs, FL in 1977. Lilian was a devoted wife, mother and friend and became a very accomplished homemaker. Lilian was known for her sense of style and grace as well as her heart of gold. She embraced her American lifestyle and on occasion, traveled to England to visit her six siblings and their families. Lilian was fond of music and classic movies. Lilian is survived by her husband Thomas C. Roberts, her daughter Patricia (Mike) Salvatore. A service will be held on Friday September 25, 2015 from 4PM to 7PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (335 East State Road 434 Longwood, FL, 32750). There will be a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made in Lilian's memory to Shriner's Children's Hospital
